Please select a topic:
  • Q: I can log into my DVR's webview and view live video, but when I try to go to playback I get an error message and all the videos just show a black screen. How do I fix this issue?(This issue also applies to remote playback in email notifications)

A: The most common cause of this problem is Anti-Virus software running on the specific computer. Either make an exception in your Anti-Virus software or disable it to be able to see playback.

  • Q: How do I set up a DDNS on my DVR so I do not have to keep checking to see if my IP changes?

A: The DDNS can be located under the configuration settings on the webview. Click on DDNS and select EagleEyes. Create your own name and save.

  • Q: I am able to view my DVR on a computer remotely (not on the same network) but I cannot view the DVR on my phone?

A: Make sure you download the latest version of EagleEyes. If you can't connect try changing the port of the DVR in your DVR settings and port forwarding rule. Some phone carriers do not work with EagleEyes on certain ports.
